Biography

I started my artistic career in 2000 with fine art high school diploma and a few years later I was in
Libera Accademia di Belle Arti (Florence) where I attended the course of professional photography

Passion for arts has driven me ever, since young to travel and learn the value of our culture but, even of distant and unknown cultures. This path pushed me to express what I have learned in photographic and visual language in different experiences, in a continuous search for balance between respect for the rules and breaking of the compositional schemes; giving emphasis above all on the importance of colors and shadows in the image

In 2013 I began the studio  Gaia – Uomo <> Natura  project which is now developing into a permanent exhibition, collecting the examples of a continuous compositional research in which I am inspired by several artists, classical, modern, contemporary movements and by surrounding environment

Artistic thought and style

I compose by taking picures in a constant search for balance between darkness and light, accentuating the intensity of warm and cold colors in contrast with the depth of dark backgrounds. I always try to bring this balance to the right tension representing the opposing effects that are created

In the compositions I use different shapes, materials, photographic techniques, experimenting with the various effects that several light sources can create on glossy, translucent, matte surfaces
